I interned with No Guilt Bakes as Social Media Content Creator. My responsibilities were to create engaging brand assets using Adobe and Canva for use on social platforms while researching the relevant market to create and implement content strategies for the existing social media channels.
I managed the No Guilt Bakes social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, Pinterest, Google, and Linkedin – while creating posts and managing a community of over 10,000 followers. I oversaw, planned and delivered content across these different platforms using scheduling tools such as Feedhive.
The content creation aspect of my role involved creating engaging, entertaining, and informative multimedia content across multiple platforms. Ranging from graphic design and infographics to photography and video across Instagram Reels and Tik Tok. While also frequently researching trending hashtags, content, and topics within the relevant sector.
The marketing aspect of my role involved forming key relationships with influencers across social media platforms and undertaking audience research to develop our existing content strategies further. I was able to develop, launch, and manage new competitions and campaigns, and coordinated a giveaway across Instagram in partnership with five other brands in the relevant market. I managed and facilitated the social media communities by communicating with the audience to build brand-customer relationships and encourage growth. I monitored and reported on the performance across all social channels each month in order to track and analyse insights.
